Nokia 1520 Microphone problems

all software is updated, not sure how the firmware is updated? do I need to do that manualy or is it included in the updates?

soft reset doesnt solve the problem

1. Check that your microphone is not muted. Also, restarting your phone could resolve the issue. To do that, hold the Power and Volume Down keys simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Release and the phone will restart.

Microphone is not muted plus I restarted it multiple times and it doesnt help

1. Check that the microphone opening is not blocked. To find the microphone opening, refer to your phone user guide.

1. Set your phone to loudspeaker mode, or try a wired headset that has a microphone.

this helps and then I am able to make phonecalls but I cant have a private phonecall plus I get a lot more background noise

1. Check if the issue is with a specific number on outgoing or incoming calls.

its with all the numbers doesnt matter if its incoming or outgoing

1. Use the volume keys to adjust the volume.

1. Test your phone's microphone and speakers with the pre-installed voice recorder. To record a clip, go to Messaging > New (+) > Attach and tap voice note. Record an audio clip, and play the recording. If you can hear the recording, your microphone is ok.

this works, it records audio messages fine
