How can I disable the unsafe volume warning?

I usually have my laptop's system volume at 80% and plugged into speakers which I can adjust, but since updating to windows 8.1 I keep noticing that every time I turn my laptop on while plugged into the speakers it automatically lowers and limits my volume to about 40% and when I try to turn it up a large banner warns me that any higher might be unsafe for my ears asking am I sure I want to do this.

It's very annoying to get this every day, and I can't seem to find a way to disable the warning permanently.

At least for Realtek: Go to "programs and features" and uninstall everything realtek (or at least sound related. Restart cumputer. Voila.

I don't set my laptop to sleep, except when I close the lid. Which, I am having problems with right now. At random, my computer crashes when I close the lid. Sometimes it sleeps properly, sometimes it doesn't. I have already sworn to never purchase a Samsung product, ever again. Not a phone, TV, and especially not a computer. You might be able to find another thread in the Microsoft Community that addresses your particular situation. My recommendations for laptops in order of preference Panasonic Toughbook, Lenovo Thinkpad, and Toshiba Satellite or better. Panasonic is usually out of budget, but indestructible. Lenovo is solid at an average cost. Toshiba is the ultimate bang for the buck. Toshiba does feel like cheap plastic, but always works right and last for a surprisingly long time. I own 2 Toshiba laptops (besides my Samsung) and they both have outlasted all of my other machines.

    Good Luck

I have the same problem since a long time now. Samsung laptop again. i dont wanna see this annoying thing of 42% volume again. solve it or i promise i wont buy any samsung product ever again.

Also since 8.1 the laptop doesnt go off to sleep on its own. it just stays on for days if not shut down. i changed the power settings and all but in vain. is anyone else facing this issue?
