Hi Steve,
You can disable or turn off the display from the settings in the Power option. In the “change plan settings”, you need to ensure that the time is minimal for the “display to turn off”. For example if you have chosen two minutes for the display to turn off then after two minutes the display will be off and you can continue to listen to the music. Once this is done, save the settings.
I would like to let you know that the Modern UI version of Internet Explorer 11 is a bare bones version, optimized for faster browsing and touch devices, but works well with a keyboard and mouse, as well.
The Modern UI version of Internet Explorer 11 does not support add-ons. To take advantage of the additional functionality of add-ons, use the Desktop version of Internet Explorer 11.
The Modern UI version of Internet Explorer 11 runs with Enhanced Protected Mode enabled by default because plug-ins don’t run in the Modern UI version of Internet Explorer 11, hence compatibility is generally not an issue. Enhanced Protected Mode is disabled by default in the Desktop version of Internet Explorer 11.

Yikes, they had all already stated that the options in Windows are not allowing separate setting of screen off and sleep. I had just run into this problem on my Asus laptop. It had been working fine. It runs 24/7 with the screen off time set at 3 minutes. I have security camera software running so it can not go into sleep. Just today I installed a couple updates through windows update and now the computer goes into Connected Standby. It never did this before. Now all of a sudden it does and I have no option to set the screen off time. Only Sleep. How in the world did this change. It was working then just wasn't. So frustrating to not have the option separate on low power tablets and notebooks like there is on desktops and laptops.
I did that registry tweak and it has solved my problem. I now have screen off option rather than sleep. Back to working like it used to thankfully. But really Microsoft, please fix this problem!!
