How to copy my contacts from my phone to my sim card?

This is really irritating.My window phone 520 is going worse.There are alot of problems with it.I have finally thought of reseting it.But the problem is that i cannot afford losing my contacts.Is there any way of copying my contacts to my sim card? So that after reseting i can have them back when i insert my sim card after the whole reset process? Please help me out of this...

Your contacts are always synced to your Microsoft Account in the cloud. You can verify this on your PC: https://contacts.live.com

To answer your question, there is no export to SIM function. You can export contacts (if you still need to) from the mentioned site though by choosing Manage > Export.

There is no way to put the contacts from your phone to SIM card. I can suggest a few alternatives though.

  1. Go to contacts.live.com. Login using your windowsphone account. All your phone contacts must be stored here.
  2. There is this app called TRANSFER MY DATA in the store under the section called APPS BY NOKIA. That app allows you to transfer contacts through Bluetooth to other phones.

Er No! I look at my Microsoft account and there is nothing about the contacts that are in my Win 8 phone that seem to be sucked up from the various sim cards that have been in it.

Guesss what I dont want my face book life in my phone or visa versa.

Just how do I do **** that was simple on old phones and is now imbloodypossible with 'smart' phones.

    I synced Outlook account contacts in my Nokia Lumia 520, all my contacts are got updated to my outlook account.. If you are not using it, sign up new outlook account, go to PEOPLE, IMPORT CONTACTS, import your contacts through any of your account given.... Once imported in your hotmail account, use your yahoo mail account contacts to import outlook contacts... It means you have to import all of your contacts in yahoo mail account.

    If you got success to do so...

    Open your yahoo contacts, go to ACTION, select EXPORT, choose "vCard Single File", click EXPORT NOW, save file... the file will got saved in your PC or android tablet/mobile...

    After all this damn process, use any Android mobile, insert your SIM CARD in android mobile, you have this downloaded/saved vCard file in your mobile, run it, save contacts to sim....... Its done...

    YOUR ARE LUCKY IF GOT SUCCESS IN THIS BATTLEFIELD.

    (Note : it will be easy if you are using PC)
