Importing to new MSN Money Portfolio Manager

I imported all of my watchlists/portfolio watchlists from the old MSN to the New MSN Portfolio Manager.    I seem to have successfully imported all of the accounts, but none of the transactions were imported, or I can't find them.   If I go to the specific portfolio the only item that is present is the name of the investment, when I go to the portfolio holdings or transactions tab, the fields are blank.   I have more than 10 years of data in the old MSN Portfolio manager with monthly dividend reinvestments, buys and sells, etc.    I hope that this information is not lost.   Please help me.

Also, the old MSN would provide a total value of all of my portfolios with a total return and todays total return at the top of the page, it was more like a summary of all of the investments in one view.   Will the new MSN Money site do this as well?  I think that was a good feature as I don't want to delve into each portfolio on a daily basis to see how the investments performed.

Thank you for participating in our forum, for reporting the issues with the portfolio migration and providing your feedback. The product team is actively reviewing all this information and working on providing fixes to some of the issues you have encountered.

In the meantime and to help centralize this information, I have started a new thread called Know more about My Watchlistwhich contains the most up-to-date information regarding the new features and a link to the article listing the steps for re-importing your portfolio in case you have not received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data on the first try. That thread will make it easier for me to try and respond to your questions and to quickly gather information I can share with the product team.

Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Portfolio Manager is now combined with your WatchList. My MSN stock quotes, MSN Money Watchlist and Portfolio manager accounts were all migrated to the new "My Watchlist"! Scroll down to "Money" and click on My Watchlist.

    I've been thinking that, since Microsoft management clearly aren't interested in our issues, perhaps the financial media would be.  If I were an editor at one of these publications (*Financial Times, Bloomberg, thestreet.com, Morningstar,*etc.) and I read through the recent hundreds of posts from disgruntled users, I might see this as a traffic-generating way to stick a finger in Microsoft's eye (always a popular pastime).

         I would very much rather engage with Microsoft management in a positive and productive way than create a media kerfuffle, but these "Community" forums have really become a one-way street, with the users complaining and Microsoft essentially ignoring us.  (Except for good-ol' Adriana, who I think feels as bad as we do, but is powerless to do anything about it.)

         Thoughts about the advisability of making a media tip, and if you like the idea, any thoughts about how to do it?

    Another thought is how to get all this complaint track to MSN's / MS competitors to provide a newer and competing stock / fund tracker.

    I was also PO when the re-direct operation of clicking an individual stock or fund in a tracked accounts body of info, disappeared in the lower left corner of the % and stock graphing box of the 3 boxes at bottom of the main page about a year ago.  

    Yes MSN switched to Morningstar info, but a re-direct SW could have been written to keep the same function per the original operation.  Made to click out of Portfolio Manager to go to another page, and then insert the desired stock / fund symbol of the one to be looked up for graphing.  But NO MSN would not do even that. Does anyone else remember that switch taking place?  

    Should have taken that treatment as the real sign as to what just happened.  Total MSN Magical Disappearing action.
