Importing to new MSN Money Portfolio Manager

I imported all of my watchlists/portfolio watchlists from the old MSN to the New MSN Portfolio Manager.    I seem to have successfully imported all of the accounts, but none of the transactions were imported, or I can't find them.   If I go to the specific portfolio the only item that is present is the name of the investment, when I go to the portfolio holdings or transactions tab, the fields are blank.   I have more than 10 years of data in the old MSN Portfolio manager with monthly dividend reinvestments, buys and sells, etc.    I hope that this information is not lost.   Please help me.

Also, the old MSN would provide a total value of all of my portfolios with a total return and todays total return at the top of the page, it was more like a summary of all of the investments in one view.   Will the new MSN Money site do this as well?  I think that was a good feature as I don't want to delve into each portfolio on a daily basis to see how the investments performed.

Thank you for participating in our forum, for reporting the issues with the portfolio migration and providing your feedback. The product team is actively reviewing all this information and working on providing fixes to some of the issues you have encountered.

In the meantime and to help centralize this information, I have started a new thread called Know more about My Watchlistwhich contains the most up-to-date information regarding the new features and a link to the article listing the steps for re-importing your portfolio in case you have not received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data on the first try. That thread will make it easier for me to try and respond to your questions and to quickly gather information I can share with the product team.

Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Portfolio Manager is now combined with your WatchList. My MSN stock quotes, MSN Money Watchlist and Portfolio manager accounts were all migrated to the new "My Watchlist"! Scroll down to "Money" and click on My Watchlist.

    O.k.  So I am now getting together all of my transactions from the old Portfolio Manager before it disappears and I am not very happy with the new MSN watchlist. Is there a different platform or service that gives me similar qualities that the old portfolio manager did? Help!!!!

    Adriana,

    I retried the import and the same results got migrated into the new MSN sight.

    The following are points covering what is wrong with migration

    1. the migration does not pull in any mutual fund data on price and quantity
    2. The total of each mutual fund in dollars is missing
    3. much of the transaction for mutual funds is missing
    4. On the pure stock portfolios the migration will only pull over a maximum of 30 stocks. After 30 stocks the list is cut off and the remaining data is not pulled over.
    5. This new portfolio manager is not a portfolio manager it is designed to be a watch list manager and that is about all the capability it has at the present time.
    6. Tell your user world exactly how the new investment manager works in relationship to the old investor manager. Be truthful and do not send us around in circles with your answers.

    Here is a link to the old Portfolio Manager that I got from MorningSleeper (thanks very much to him).  The old portfolio manager still seems to be working, but you can't click on stock symbols to see detailed quote, but who cares about that.  MSN should give this link to investors so they have access to their investment data.
