I turned off my firewall and AV and all the update problems were fixed, then reenabled them, probably have to do the same next time there are updates.

I get the exact some error. No error code and the update history shows nothing. The exact wording that I get is ..." we couldn't complete the updates, undoing changes." Please help.

Thank you very much, Paul. I appreciate your help. I assume Microsoft is still aggressively working this problem. It would be helpful if the appropriate authorities publicly stated that they will defer making this patch the required baseline for future security updates until we can all install it. I apologize if this reply is considered off-topic, but I'm not sure where else to make this request, and haven't been able to find an official response elsewhere.
