My update number was KB3000850. What now? Pretty sick of this ****. It usually means 30 minutes of frustration. Is there a fix for this?
Try:
Deactivate your antivirus - remember to activate it again, when the computer have restarted...
OR:
Wait when downloading...
Wait, when preparing...
RIGHT, when it writes : "Installing updates 1 of 1..." Make a restart! Rightclick on the Start-button, and click on restart.
KB3000850 is an optional, non-security update (yes, even though it may be offered as an Important update). Feel free to hide it & move on with your life.
