Windows Update 8.1 KB2919355 tries every day, and everyday it gets to 100%, and then says it cannot complete the updates, and then undoes everything. Error is 800F0922. A week ago the error was different (can't recall - too many other entries for history to contain); I reinstalled Nvidia video drivers and now the error is 800F0922. So far I've tried a number of solutions including use of DISM commands and Windows Update checker. No joy. I'm not willing to refresh the system because it means reinstalling many programs, including MS Office 2013, and besides the aggravation I'm unsure of the license implications. Don't know if MS and other vendors will allow a reactivation. Otherwise the system has accepted all other updates, and is running fine as far as I can tell. Also tried a manual update - again, no joy.

I get the message Windows will restart in 1-day restart to do updates then it goes through this quasi update and then eventually says undoing changes do not turn off your computer. My last update was on 1/13/2014. C'mon Microsoft how about a fix. I checked my history and there were no errors codes/messages to report. I am not tech. savy so just fix it via your patch updates. You are getting enough complaints to get the heavies involved. 10:1 I get no response nor a fix............taking bets! Carlos

I was downloading updates on another computer running Windows Vista Professional and it keeps coming up with the above error and it shuts-down and then starts up and repeats the same thing over and over again. I can't do anything except turn the computer off. I need help please

Any News on this? Being wasting my time reading all the posts and anyone know if:- I definitely need a recovery partition on my hard drive cos I haven't got one What is the minimum free space required on my system partition to do this upgrade. and in my windows updates it's showing the upgrade as successful but all subsequent updates refer to the system not having the update installed, which I'm sure it hasn't cheers
