Trying to run update KB3000850. Keep getting the couldn't complete the Updates, Undoing changes message. There is no error code given Update history says that it has succeeded but it also then showing the same update as Pending Restart. However, on restart it just again says installing and then Couldn't complete the Updates.... I have run the MS update fix 2 or 3 times now and each time I run it and check for Updates it shows KB3000850 as important update to be run. Had this issue for several days now. Am tempted to just say stuff MS updates and get an Apple!!!!

I can only advise you to "chat" remotely with Microsoft Technical Support and they will resolve this, if only by reinstalling 8.1 remotely. There are so many different error codes based on the same symptoms i.e "undoing changes" that frankly it is a lot easier just to get them to have a look and (probably) reinstall, which resolves the problem.

There is no error code given

Update history says that it has succeeded but it also then showing the same update as Pending Restart.
