That shows updates failed but it doesn't show any of the codes.

I fixed it by reverting back to Windows 7, running the McAfee removal tool, uninstalling MSE, then upgrading to Windows 10 again. Every thing seems to work right now. Thanks for your help.

Upgrade to Windows 10 and your problem is solved. Did you ever get Windows Defender up & running , Ron?
