Tapping on the update history gave me the error code of 800F0922. There are 10 updates that fail to load. The first of the list of updates has the number KB3092627. I could list them all if that is required.
Any help would be appreciated.

Security Update For Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 for x64-based Systems (KB3072307)
Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3092627)
Security Upddate for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3086255)
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3087038)
Those seems to be the most frequent updates to fail, it's really annoying having to wait 5-10 minutes everytime I restart/shut down my PC. Also, is there any harm to my PC by this happening everyday?
How should it be solved ??

I got the same message several times now, but luckily my brand new computer will turn off. When I read the steps to fix this, I went to history for updates, and every update says that it was successful. NO error messages.
This seems to be an extremely common problem. How should it be solved ??
80200001 is another failure which was seen along with 80240054
Neither of those codes is in the list. That's why you need to dig into the details in the manner I outlined.
In the case of the first one its category isn't even there but guessing by 0x24xxxx being "success codes" maybe 0x8020xxxx is a new category of general failure, e.g. something more credible than "This should never happen", etc.
Heh. Here is a more specific guess. Since 0x00240001 means
0x240001 WU_S_SERVICE_STOP WindowsUpdate Windows Update Agent was stopped successfully
how about 0x800200001 may mean
WU_F_SERVICE_STOP WindowsUpdate Windows Update Agent was stopped UNsuccessfully
Again, avoiding speculation, dig into the details and find out for sure. Without access to source or support documentation, inference from all your diagnostics is all that we have to work with.
