I find it not only laughable, but also disrespectful that the average, or even tech savvy MS user, would be expected to find a way to trouble shoot this install themselves or completely restore their machine. I really hope Microsoft comes through with a fix... How embarrassing for a integral update to have so many documented problems.

That's fine until November 2015 when if the latest Windows 8.? is not install no more security Updates just like Windows 8.1 now. Just for grins, I thought I would try to install 9355 again (just cause I love pain), but it is no longer offered in the update?!? It's gone. Is MSFT reworking it, and has pulled it from the store?

If 2919355 is not installed by June, you will receive no future security updates. What about backing out of W8.1 to W8.0? You're kidding, right?
