I just checked my update history and everything is now installed and updated! And my computer no longer takes 30 minutes to reboot! I don't know what happened, but THANK YOU!!!!! @ Steve Rogalinski , any idea what might have changed?

error code I found for the Windows Update Installation failure to complete was 80070002 Means file not found. Which file? Who knows? That's why I would use ProcMon to find out what all is going on when this happens. If you would like to start you own thread I am willing to help you try to diagnose it.

I'm typing this at beginning of June so I don't know if the problem has been answered. The error code I found for the Windows Update Installation failure to complete was 80070002 for which I have found very little support to fix. To date, I have still not been able to install the 8.1 update without the files being rolled back due to "unable to complete."

Error: We couldn’t complete the updates, Undoing changes. Don’t turn off your computer.
