    Hi

I am a Windows 8.1 64bit user and the latest updates are just not working.  The list below are all the ones which are failing. My computer installs them, then the computer shutsdown and then tells me that the updated failed.

    Got the error:

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070BC9: Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB2971203).

You aren't protected without 2919355.  What exactly is the problem after installing it?

I have to say I hate the update KB2919355, at least this update has problem for one of my existing programs, before update this my program work very well but doesn't work at all afyet install the update KB2919355. I have to uninstall it every time after the machine installed it automatically, or avoid to intall it for every new update remind.

Howevery just about one week before my machine installed the update KB2919355 and I had to uninstall it, but after many times of uninstall, the KB2919355 is still there after every restart of the machine, during the restart of the machine the message showing "we couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes." It made me crazy!

You need to do some research, Windows 7 Computers are still available. Maybe not in Big Box Stores but from Computer Manufacturers. Just yesterday HP sent me a List of Computers-both desktops and Laptops-that came with Windows 7 and on sale. Shut it down. Find out from your manual or Computer Support how to boot into advance features, usually an F key. Restart tap the F key and enter advance features, try repair. if this doesn't work you can also do a refresh from the same place. it.

Hope this helps and if you need any further assistance post and we will be glad to help you.
