@RichHarrow, I recently had two Windows10 updates (KB4033637, KB4041691) that repeatedly failed with error 0x8007000D. Numerous attempts at running the Windows Update Troubleshooter and various scripts to reset things were not successful. I downloaded the updates manually and installed them successfully, but Windows Update tried to re-install them. I ended up downloading the latest Windows 10 installation media from https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10. Running 'setup.exe' gave me the option of reinstalling Windows while retaining all personalization, data, and apps. The process took a few hours but successfully upgraded the laptop to the Fall Creators version. Subsequent Windows Updates have been successful. So far, I have only run into a few minor issues that I have been able to correct. Regards. Norbert

2017-10 cumulative update for windows 10 version for x64-based systems (KB4041676) I have 36 of these yet it keeps running it again and giving me a failing message

KB4041676 update has repeatedly failed to install. I have turned out Norton and Malwarebytes and it still will not install. I have this issue as well and I've been working on it for 2 days......getting very frustrated.

Error: We couldn’t complete the updates, Undoing changes. Don’t turn off your computer.
