This error may appear anytime a Windows Update fails. To investigate possible solutions, we need to start with the specific error code.

We can do this by viewing your update history.

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen (or, if you're using a mouse, pointing to the lower-right corner of the screen and moving the mouse pointer up), and tap or click Settings.
  2. Tap or click Change PC settings, and then Update and recovery.
  3. Tap or click View your update history.

View failed update error code.

Please post here with your error code, so that the Community can try to help guide you appropriately.

I tried installing updates on my computer, but it came up with "Error: We couldn’t complete the updates, Undoing changes. Don’t turn off your computer." after the computer had restarted. And then it tried to install the updates again, only to come up with the same error message. I looked in the update history and all of the failed updates had the same error code: 800F0922. Could I get some help please?

Oddly enough, even though the updates were reported as errors during installation, I have no errors reported in my Windows update history. In fact, I have a whole series of successful updates dating back to 2014. The latest successful update occurred 7/26/2015. Go figure.

هنا هو لقطة الشاشة مع رمز الخطأ في واحدة من الفشل، وفعلا زوجين:

    [رمز الخطأ 0x80240055]

يبدو أن واحدا هو مجرد رمز الإرجاع، وليس خطأ
