8.1 install error 0xC1900101-0x40019 and 0x80070652
I tried to install 8.1, and after downloading and appearing to install, my PC hang for about 2 hours. I reboooted and recieved a message that 8.1 could not be installed, and reverting to 8.0. Error message 0xC1900101-0x40019
This morning I again tried to install from the Store, and immediately got a message This app was not installed. Error message 0x80070652
Any idea as to how to install 8.1?

2013-10-26T19:41:26+00:00 I ran the Upgrade Assistant (with no problems found) and then tried repeatedly to install the 8.1 update. But it failed every time a couple minutes into the download with error 0x80070652. Then I found this message thread.
After trying various suggestions, this is what ended up working for me:
- clear the Store cache (Windows + R; enter WSreset.exe)
- reboot the computer
- clear the Store cache again
- go to store and start download
I don't know why it was necessary to clear the Store cache twice, but when I did that is when it finally worked.

2013-10-29T17:21:28+00:00 I have the same error and so far there is nothing on the Microsoft web site, only here on the forum, which is useless. Microsoft needs to get on this.
