I tried to install 8.1, and after downloading and appearing to install, my PC hang for about 2 hours.  I reboooted and recieved a message that 8.1 could not be installed, and reverting to 8.0.  Error message 0xC1900101-0x40019

This morning I again tried to install from the Store, and immediately got a message This app was not installed.  Error message 0x80070652

Any idea as to how to install 8.1?

Chuck

ok ok ok. here we all go once again, i have done the remove start ups, etc, no luck. investigated the error 0x80070652, gone here gone there. just tried once again to download, NOW on the craxxy store, the win8.1 FREE upgrade, "is no longer available at this time". what a joke. these people are just clueless as to a customer centered business. they suck.

Got  the same Problem on my 1 week old Asus. It´s just a mess the whole Microsoft package. Already finding some means going to their "store".  I wonder who is working for this Company. Maybe he/she should Change his/her Job. Just lousy everything.

same problem with me. tried 3 times. uninstalled yahoo toolbar, avira and titanium anti Virus, did not help any. Also the download from the Microsoft Webside does not work nor their link they sent by E-Mail. What a junk all of this. Microsoft should be ashamed producing such a mess
