I tried to install 8.1, and after downloading and appearing to install, my PC hang for about 2 hours.  I reboooted and recieved a message that 8.1 could not be installed, and reverting to 8.0.  Error message 0xC1900101-0x40019

This morning I again tried to install from the Store, and immediately got a message This app was not installed.  Error message 0x80070652

Any idea as to how to install 8.1?

Chuck

hey all, check this out, our big brother microhardhead is really fit ti be tied.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24608277

this unfortunately does not help us, but it shows how inadequate MHH preps these updates before releasing them to their clients. They just do not care.

    my favorite line is,

"""The update was pulled while it was "investigating a situation affecting a limited number of users","""

yeah LIMITED, sure. right limited like 100,000's of innocent clients.

and imagine how many are being affected by the glitch in the WIN 8.1 and WIN 8.1 PRO upgrade!!!!.

    sad sad sad..

I'm not sure what you mean.  I started the thread and still don;t have any real answers

Then please unmark ottotheodor's post as ANSWER then don't mark any other posts as ANSWER unless & until your problem's been resolved.

Please do this now, before replying to this post, to avoid confusion. Thank you.

Otto must have marked that as an answer.  I didn't.

make sure to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).

And if the error occurs far before the EULA screen?
