I tried to install 8.1, and after downloading and appearing to install, my PC hang for about 2 hours.  I reboooted and recieved a message that 8.1 could not be installed, and reverting to 8.0.  Error message 0xC1900101-0x40019

This morning I again tried to install from the Store, and immediately got a message This app was not installed.  Error message 0x80070652

Any idea as to how to install 8.1?

Chuck

Windows 8 Pro 64bit on Home built PC

Tried the official install via WIndows Store, downloads and gets as far as "applying changes" and then

"This application hasn`t installed -view details" and a box appears containing the following:-

" Something happened and Windows 8.1 couldn`t be installed. Please try again. Error Code 0x80070005."

This code, I believe, is related to activation and my installation of Win 8 is activated. I upgraded from Win 7 64bit via official Windows 8 ISO burned to DVD.

I also have an ASUS S200E Notebook which downloaded and installed the 8.1 update with no problems.
