tried for the fifth time, i am now receiving this note,
KMOD_EXCEPTION_NOT HANDLED. why why why MS do you not check your products before you open the doors to upgrades??

I tried to install 8.1, and after downloading and appearing to install, my PC hang for about 2 hours. I reboooted and recieved a message that 8.1 could not be installed, and reverting to 8.0. Error message 0xC1900101-0x40019
This morning I again tried to install from the Store, and immediately got a message This app was not installed. Error message 0x80070652
Any idea as to how to install 8.1?

I have installed the latest intel chipset and the update succeeded without any problems

2013-10-20T02:04:35+00:00 I had the same problem as well but sometimes mine has gotten as far as the compatibility check but won't go any further then that step. It keeps hanging on 58%. But now I keep getting this error too.

Hello !
I've the same issue (0x80070652) and I resolved it !
After click on the link to the windows store, you have to Close the initial popup !
