Here's a work-around that MSN may not leave available for long. Just type in moneycentral.msn.com/stock_portfolio in your browser's address bar. Takes you directly to the old site. I guess it would be wise to print or write out all your data just in case the answer to the import issue is to enter everything in again, one by one.
How do I get to my Portfolio in the new MSN Money format?
I can't locate my Portfolio in the new MSN Money Investments format - where is it?

2014-10-08T16:18:56+00:00 That was what I had to do. All but 5 of my stocks were imported and I had to entered them
individually. What pain in the b--t. I put my old portfolio in my favorites on my pc but how long
it will be available is another question. I prefer the set up of the old portfolio. The new one is
too hard to find what you paid for a stock as they are by date and just that one stock you want to
look at. KB

2014-10-08T20:09:52+00:00 Has anyone considered that Microsoft is accomplishing what it has tried to do for years - get rid of the MS Money Portfolio so it will no longer have to provide support.
It has accomplished its aim as far as I'm concerned -- when the Classic Portfolio disappears, I will too as far as MSN Money is concerned. I'll change my IE home page which won't matter much since I'll only use Internet Explorer when I need to because a function works better on IE than on another browser such as Chrome. And I'll change my default browser so I won't be seeing IE unless I need to.
Bye, bye to pie in the sky!

2014-10-11T11:52:29+00:00 Thanks Microsoft . . . .for assisting me to get my "old" portfolio migrated into your "new & improved" MyWatchlist. However, now that I have my data . . . . please assist me in doing what I want to do with it . . . such as get a good look at my info and perhaps the ability to print it as I wish to do (that was an easy feature in the old portfolio BTW . . . . which now is a impossible thing to do. May I ask a question? Do you need to charge us something for this service (that is to give us something of value lie we used to have?). BTW, I was kidding when I mentioned "new & improved". How many times in the history of programming has programmers delivered a product not having a clue as to what the users will want?
