I can not change my lock screen at all. It just loads but does not allow me to change it at all. The link is a video, hopefully demonstrating my problem. I am running a purchased and activated version of windows 8.1. (Purchased windows 8 and upgraded).
Thanks for your help.

2015-01-01T09:08:12+00:00 This is interesting. For me the problem was a missing key. It looks as if the "ImageId_A” key is missing or if it has invalid data that it breaks the lockscreen code. Just creating a REG file with the following was sufficient to fix it for me. You don't even need the "Details_A" part, but it's probably smarter to add it in just in case. The values don't have to be what was inserted below (from the original solution), but they work just fine. You could make the value the same as in the ImageID_B key if you prefer that.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Lock Screen]
"ImageId_A"="{9F5E9C6C-8359-4271-81D0-2B72817D3CDF}"
"Details_A"="ROAMING"
I have seen and tried this before. I also have repeatedly responded that this does not resolve my issue.
