Error Code 80073712 Windows update Win 8.1 x64

Ok so here are the system specs

After the last update and restart. I am unable to use Windows update.

I have tried the troubleshooting steps but the problem still exists.

SFC returns no problem at all.

Problem occurring for updates KB2936068 and KB2919355

Using their standalone installer isn't working either.

Hi Jaxx,

Microsoft has issued a fix for your error: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2969339

After you install it, the rest of the updates should download automatically.

    Huh? That would produce a syntax error. There SHOULD BE a space between the command and the argument. 

    Here's a screenshot of when I ran DISM.exe on my own system which ran successfully and repaired the corruption on my own machine.

    As you can clearly see, even though there's no space between "DISM.exe" and "/Online", the command didn't produce an error.

    You have one excellent machine there.

    As you can clearly see, my machine requires a space.

    Every single example of the command on every single website I have ever seen has a space between the command and the argument. Perhaps the update has corrupted my computer as it relates to Dism.exe or Microsoft doesn't understand the command and has published erroneous information. I hope you will advise the company of it's mistake. In the meantime, I will follow the erroneous examples provided by Microsoft, as your example does not work on my computer.

    Strange that it throws up that error.  I just ran a DISM Help check using the method I've always used (DISM.exe/Online) and as you can see from the screenshot, it doesn't produce the errors you're seeing regardless of the fact that there's no space in between.
