Tried again on Windows 10 machine, only ran command prompt as Administrator. That put me in the correct Windows system32 directory and I was able to run the command.

Still waiting to see if it works..

Also, there is no Bits service in Windows 10 that I have been able to find...?

Your problem is at the command prompt. "wuaclt /detectnow" should not be there: Copy the command line immediately following the prompt. If copying the line is a problem then manually inserting it should work.

The problem I have is with KB33124200 and I copied the DISM tool line, ran it in an elevated command prompt changing the KB to the one I am having trouble with; and it can't find the update.  I've run WU six times in the past week and I still run into problems.  My fix-it shows that the service registration is missing or corrupt.

I am on Windows 10 64 bit, and it was formerly Windows 10 32-bit.  There aren't any extra profiles; it updated itself to 1511 and now can't run the cume updates.
