From recently I can't update windows and I ran MS Fix it Center and it shows that service registration is missing or corrupt.

    I finally got mine to update yesterday.  Someone suggested that I keep running the Windows Update Troubleshooter so I ran it over and over and on the 3rd or 4th try it fixed the corrupted or missing service registration.  That worked for me....hope it helps you!!!

    One of our family's 3 PC's gave us a lot of trouble with this error. In the end I downloaded the ISO file for Windows 10 and burned it as a DVD. Install ran smoothly from that (and it's handy to have a DVD copy of the software 'just in case').
