From recently I can't update windows and I ran MS Fix it Center and it shows that service registration is missing or corrupt.

    i troubleshooted on windows update after upgradin to windows 10 as i m unable to download other updates and it say service registration is missing or corrupt what shoul i do now...?

    I keep at least one other browser (Firefox),  just incase IE has issues.

     I've uninstalled, then reinstalled IE, via another browser, when neither resetting the IE internet history  or resetting internet options, didn't work.

    You might try that since you have Chrome already.

    I am unable to restore as well as update. I choose a restore point and nothing happens (im talking 2 hours). ive even tried refreshing and it told me that there was a problem and nothing was changed :(

    Continue to try uploading. On the fourth attempt my laptop finally seemed to by pass the problem and loaded and is working as we speak. It is not with out its problems as now I have to watch Netflix via Google Chrome as it will not work with Explorer at this point.

    Problem fixed but DON'T remember what the fix was.  I downloaded the ISO file and created DVD's to install Windows 10 on 3 of my 4 bootable partitions.   Waiting on Symantec System Recovery to support Windows 10.
