Support for Windows XP is ending soon

They haven't disabled the option - I just checked on an XP laptop I'm servicing at work.

What are you seeing when you try to turn them off?

Your disabled updates may be associated with a virus or piece of malware that is affecting the Windows updates.  If you have anti-malware and/or anti-virus software on your computer run them to see if you have a problem.  I also had this happen on my home computer and Microsoft technicians helped me get rid of the problem.

It's not evil it's just wrong. 

I understand they need to improve for a better profit for the company. Why would I care about the profit when people like me make the profit for them. With all the knowledge mircrosoft has why not make a software that i would gladly buy to keep XP.

When buying a newer computer aren't you buying the software. That becomes a money thing.

XP has been around this long because it's good edtion and user friendly. Just my thoughts!

Thanks but, it's not a virus. It simply will not let me click on, turn off auto updates.

When going into security center, then to auto upates,in the box I can't click on anything it just won't let me. It's a bit hard for me to explain.
