I loved my xp yet with all thats going on with microsoft and not trusting any downloads and not even knowing what problems they would cause I decided to get a new computer. I purchased windows 7 because I didn't like the
windows 8.. I have to admitt I like it. It's faster. I had to get used to the little differences but 7 is very close to the xp. I still do like some features of xp has but I'm glad I got 7.
BELLA1217,
I appreciate that you originally posted in this conversation a while back and took the time to come back to let everyone know what you finally did and why. I believe making the choice to get a Windows 7 system to replace your Windows XP system was the right
choice for you and I am glad to hear that it is working out!
I did notice that you stated, "I still do like some features of XP ..." and I was curious as to what those features were (that are obviously missing from Windows 7 in your view or you wouldn't have stated that) so that perhaps myself or others could assist
you in either finding the alternative (or exact same thing sometimes) in Windows 7 or perhaps working with you to find the most viable alternative for free.
I hope you will return to continue the conversation because those in these forums (that respond frequently) are here to help because they like helping others - nothing else. It is probably one of the better resources out there for this particular type of
help that you will never have to pay for. *grin*
