The one size fits all concept is not alluring to us more fashion conscious PC users.
Not having multiple product lines sounds communist to me.
I hope car and clothes manufacturers do not take on this thought concept.
For me if I am selling something say... "Widget" for the bath.
And people say "Hey! Why don't you make a Widget for the kitchen?"
I would. I just doubled my sales market.
Some people like Blue cars and others would hate to own a blue car. So cars are made in many colors.
To satisfy the consumer base.
But the car companies are not saying.
" We sold you cars for years that use steering wheels. Now the only car you can buy is steered by your ears." " You have to learn to wiggle your ears to drive any new cars"
I will try to evolve with the newer OSs.
But the thing here is that a lot of self-considered loyal MS customers are feeling kicked out to the curb.
Thus it looks like MS does not care about a big chunk of it's loyal consumer base.
