I have had this desktop set for about 4-6 months.
It works great. The only problem is that the letter "C" can not be capitalized with either the left or right shift key.
The only way that I can get a capital "C" is to use the CapsLock key, and then it will type a capital "C".
It does not appear to be a hardware issue, it almost acts like a software/firmware issue.
I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit version.
I have switched this keyboard to a different computer with the same symptoms.
I would love to hear your thoughts.

I had the same problem.
Neither updating the software of removing the battery did work for me.
However, after a while I figured out that one of the function keys (F2) was tilted. I fixed that and now it works.
Actually you can reproduce the problem. Press down a function key and try typing. Everything works except for capital c.

Update: I did update the software but no change. Called Microsoft to get a replacement and had to pop the batteries out to get the product ID # to process the replacement. Would you believe once I did that and put them back in, it started working? Seriously, I used it all day with no issues.
Hey, sorry for shooting my mouth off if off topic. I get a little animated when I see people giving still advising people who have a simple stuck key to waste time. I lost 3 days myself reimaging. So I may get a a little trigger happy. Best Regards.
Sorry Ramesh, maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I don't see how creating yet another Microsoft account is going to help me. My post was to highlight the fact that the OP's (admittedly old) issue was never really addressed by Microsoft. So someone found out that F2 gets stuck a lot - great. The fact that keys get stuck so frequently is one thing (and there are hundreds of Amazon reviews where people say keys get stuck, anything from right out of the box to after a few months of use). The fact that such weirdness happens when keys get stuck or common key combinations fail as I've outlined is another thing. And the fact that years after the release of this product, brand new ones are still performing poorly says that MS has never really addressed the problem.
I mean I can buy a $5 wired keyboard, or even a $20 wireless keyboard that (a) doesn't have this problem, and (b) will most likely last me 20 years before keys start sticking. I expect when forking out over AU$100 each for two of them that at least one will last me more than a day before I start having issues.
This is not something that only happens once a week or even once a day either. I hit it within SECONDS of first using the keyboard - when typing my password to log into my computer, which happens to have one of the above letter pairs in it, in capitals. My password failed 3 times in a row and I immediately knew something was up. When I started using it for real work, again I hit the issue within minutes.
As I've pointed out to Rick, no keys are stuck. This is perhaps a clash between how I type (and have always typed) and poor hardware design. But they're not usable. I'm sending them back.

I assure you it's not. I checked that VERY carefully and every key works properly, but certain combinations of keys (exactly the same on two brand new out of the box keyboards) fail as I've noted.
The proof is in being able to replicate every time the problem of the OP (by physically holding down F2), then releasing and it works fine. The problem is not with me accidentally holding down F2 while I press Shift-C, or that F2 is stuck. It is that occasionally I AM holding down another key while I'm trying to type Shift-C, and this causes it to fail for the same reasons that a stuck key causes it to fail.
Maybe there are slightly different hardware versions, and my particular problem only affects some people, but this fails every time:
Hold shift > press C > press E > release C > release E
"Why are you pressing two letters at once?", I hear you say. Because that is what happens when I (and others) type quickly with the shift key held down, for example RICE becomes RICe, ECLIPSE becomes EcLIPSE, and so on. There is no other keyboard that has ever done this for me, and believe me, in over 30 years of computer use, I've used a LOT of keyboards.
