USB port malfunctioning, always says "USB Device not recognized"

I spoke with them and they told me they understood, but it would still void my warrenty. I really do not want to do this.

Post the CBS.log file to a onedrive public folder. The ram is a user removable device through a panel in the back of the laptop so it should hurt the Warrenty but if you have one contact them and tell them you are having issues that are probably caused by ram or the cpu. Just to make a note of it with them

I ran the memory diagnostic, but the results came back ok.

I'd rather not void my warrenty by opening up the laptop, can we skip this step? (I still have one more warrenty left)

I do not believe that I updated my chipset for my computer, but I'm not completely sure.

I would have to read more about that since it is a hardware and kernel thing. That's for hardcore systems guys. TechNet is another forum Microsoft has, same as this, but they specialize in the more technically side for IT pros. But anyone can ask. You shouldn't have to create an account. If you do you use the same as this forum maybe just **** a username. If you post that error they will be able to tell you more about it. Try that memory test after you post a question there. The two top theories are bad RAM and the chkdsk issue fixed sectors and had to wipe out some registry items because they were on the bad areas
