My problem was resolved with Otakuchu's fix, I removed my Entrust client and it worked.

You need to share the file in your OneDrive.

To upload click on this link: https://onedrive.live.com/

Place the cursor on Files and click on Upload. A window opens with Choose File to Upload. Place the cursor on the file to be uploaded and click on the Open button. A rectangular box appears containing the file that has been uploaded. Check the box in the top right corner of the rectangular box. Click on Share and then click on Get a Link. Click on Public Click onCreate Link Click on Everyoneunder Shared with. Click on Shorten. Place the cursor in the shortened link, right click and select Copy. Paste into your reply to these forums. Click on Done.

It is important to Paste the link before clicking on Done to avoid pasting the wrong link.

To post a link access your OneDrive where you placed the files to be shared. Place the cursor in the Address Bar, right click and select Select All. Right click again and select Copy to place the address in your Clipboard. Place the cursor in an open message here, right click and select Paste.

I tried running windows update from the action center today and now get this error message.   Last successful update was a couple of weeks ago. Rebooting the computer makes no difference. I have run the windows update troubleshooter found on the update error window available under the "Get help with this error" link and it says that it fixed two problems (Service registration is missing or corrupt - Fixed,  Problems installing recent updates - Fixed) but windows update still refuses to run.  The troubleshooter did return one puzzling piece of information; it said  "Windows Version: 6.1, Architecture: amd64" when in fact Windows, when asked, will say that it is a "Intel Core i7-2600k" (3.4GHz quad core sandy bridge to be specific).

Are there any suggestions how I might troubleshoot or fix the update failure?

In the WUDiagTempFolder\windowsupdate.log file I did find this section that referred to this error:

It looks like a file is not trusted by the machine.  How might this be fixed?
