Determining Motheboard and properly updating BIOS?

Forget midterms, I just did some troubleshooting.

I uninstalled all three components, Hotspot Shield, Daemon Tools, and the Xbox USB driver.  I then restarted my computer, confirmed all three components were gone, shut down, put my GTX 650 in the PC and booted up.  I wasn't on the desktop for even 5 minutes before the screen froze.  No crash, just a plain frozen screen.  Computer is still running (I can hear it).

Prior to this, I had already gone through the help at the link you have provided for the Bug Check 0x124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Here are the things I tried, all without success:

1.  Nothing is overclocked.

2.  PC is adequately cooled.  I have confirmed this with temperature monitoring.

3.  I updated both video and sound drivers.  I do not however know how to update SATA, RAID, or NIC drivers.  When I search the HP site, under my computer only a single result comes up for these three terms, an old 2011 SATA driver.  I don't think that would be an update for me considering how old it is.  Do you know how I can update SATA, RAID, and NIC drivers?

4.  I updated the BIOS today to 6.11 (old version was 6.05).  I also went into the Boot menu and reset my motherboard to default factor settings.

5.  My operating system is completely up to date.

6.  I used windows built in RAM test and was 100% clean.  I also ran CHKDSK on my hard drive and found no bad sectors.

7.  The last recommendation is a clean reinstall of windows.  I have had to do this before and I don't want to resort to it just yet.  Especially because I don't actually know if it will solve the problem.

The other suggestion in the article is to eliminate hardware components one by one to figure out what the problem is.  I have already pinpointed this component: if I remove my GTX 650 GPU all my problems disappear.  However it is a new graphics card, only a couple of months old now, and I am hesitant to ask Nvidia to replace it because I am afraid it is not the problem.  I think the problem may be with the PCI connection between my GPU and motherboard.  I just don't have any way to test this because I don't have access to another GPU or another PCI slot.

Honestly it seems to me that their are only three possibilities at this point:

1. SATA/RAID/NIC driver
2. The GPU itself
3. The PCI slot for the GPU

What do you think?  Do you have any recommendations?

Btw, after leaving my desktop on (frozen) for 30 minutes I force shut it down, removed my GTX 650, and booted up using integrated graphics.  I checked and there was no minidump created because there was not actually a crash just a freeze.  If you want another new minidump let me know and I could try and get one by using the GTX 650 to see if my PC crashes.

A new copy of you Msinfo would be helpful to see if we can find any clues there, as to why the system froze.

Please upload and share with everyone copies of your System and Application logs from your Event Viewer to your OneDrive and post a link here.

To access the System log select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, from the list in the left side of the window expand Windows Logs and select System. Place the cursor on System, select Action from the Menu and Save All Events as (the default evtx file type) and give the file a name. Do the same for the Applications log. Do not provide filtered files. Do not clear logs whilst you have a continuing problem.
