My phone (Lumia 720) is up to date but I cant instal whats app it says that I need to upgrade my phones software what can I do.?

Hi

i recently reset my phone to factory settings.Now when m checking for software update it says ur software is recent.Black update it shows.But when i m instilling WhatsApp it says "this app is not for your phone version,please update software" please help
