My phone (Lumia 720) is up to date but I cant instal whats app it says that I need to upgrade my phones software what can I do.?

    You answered your own queastion unless you do not understand When contacted customer care I was informed that "WhatsApp will be down till 30th may" That woulld indicated that the (updated) version will be available 31st May (within a few days).

    Anyway, this is nothing anyone here can do anything about really, it is up to WhatsApp to make the app available again.

    Didn't you read all the posts in this thread before posting ? In addition there are more than 10 threads on this subject ...

    ..and the answer is WhatsApp has been taken off by their Developers ..Real reason is unknown but may be an update is coming. there is nothing that you or we can do till then but WAIT ..
