WhatsApp for Lumia phones

My phone (Lumia 720) is up to date but I cant instal whats app it says that I need to upgrade my phones software what can I do.?

    Seriously Nokia and Microsoft has to work alot to make ur device more userfriendly ....its been almost a week m staying without whatsapp ...Do u hv any idea how mch difficulties the users are facing because of this ? Even i had uninstalled whatsapp on 19/5  and i went crazly mad thinkin wat happened and i almost reset my phone for 5 times. because when u go to store for downloadin whatsapp it says ur phone is not upgraded or this app is not available in ur region...cant u even put a message over there saying it is under development ? and why the hell do u have to remove it all from store .When ur done doing the updation u can jst replace it with old one's right ?

    WINDOWS PHONE AREN'T USER-FRIENDLY!!!

    who d hell marked this as solved whereas whatsapp is not available in store since last 4 days. **bleep**, even if an update is coming, they should have kept the old version in store for use. we could have got something atleast.

    but y d hell they remove d old version?? till d update comes, atleast old version could hv been used by ussers. wht foolish thinking from whatsapp (now facebook). It seems that Zukerberg has gone mad after paying such huge sum for whatsapp.
