Windows 8.1 Pro Secure Build isnt configured correctly build 9600 watermark

I have recently downloaded the Windows 8.1 Pro version and I now have a "Secure Build isnt configured correctly build 9600" watermark on my desktop. I updated from windows 8 pro to 8.1. I tried to configure the bios to enable secure boot I cant find it anywhere on the BIOS screen. I have an ASUS X401a laptop. I also tried to edit the group policy that enable advanced boot options as well but nothing seems to work. Now my question is this fixable or will my laptop stop working after certain amount of time. This is very frustrating as I use this as my computer for school.  Also Windows 8 has been activated since I checked for the key and its fine.

I did what you instructed and it worked.  The irritating watermark has gone.  Thank you.

    Hi

Seems that Microsoft don`'t care at all !

I have been in touch With ASUS. Several hints but no solution to the problem. At the end, they answered : Wait for Mcrosoft !

Who is going to take some responsibility ?

There is a microsoft hotfix now to remove the watermark.

My Asus K95VM works fine now on Windows 8.1 en the watermark is removed

    with the hotfix.
