Flickr has changed there API and I'm not able to use Windows Photo Gallery to load to there site anymore. I've talked to flickr and they say it's cuz of there new API and that Windows Photo Gallery has to update before it will work again. Anyone know what to do?

Just found that Flickr's Web Uploader DOES retain the metadata that you add within Photo Gallery so until the upload feature in Photo Gallery is fixed, I for one will be using this. It's nowhere near as friendly but it does mean that I don't have to type in descriptions and tags for all my photos all over again.

After the more or less similar answers from Microsoft, I really did not have much hope of them fixing this, but it is still a disappointment. As Flickr has supplied the program to do the fix, they had all the means but it just did not fit their plans. So Windows Photo Gallery still exists and the connection to Flickr, the connection just does not work. The program can still be downloaded, so it should have a note that the connection to Flickr has gone.
I am still using the product as a simple edit program and use Flickr to upload from it, as all the metadata and information I give is copied by the Flickr uploader.
Kittyburger, I do not have any information about alternatives, as Windows Photo Gallery came with my laptop and so I have always used it, anyway not of any alternative that sends photos straight to Flickr.
Seeing as this will probably never be fixed (and I'm not holding my breath), what alternatives are out that which are very similar?
