Flickr has changed there API and I'm not able to use Windows Photo Gallery to load to there site anymore. I've talked to flickr and they say it's cuz of there new API and that Windows Photo Gallery has to update before it will work again. Anyone know what to do?

Just found that Flickr's Web Uploader DOES retain the metadata that you add within Photo Gallery so until the upload feature in Photo Gallery is fixed, I for one will be using this. It's nowhere near as friendly but it does mean that I don't have to type in descriptions and tags for all my photos all over again.

Why continue beating this dead horse? Microsoft is NOT going to fix this issue. Period. There is no commitment from their side to do this. Perhaps with the release of Windows 10, this might change, and perhaps it will include some sort of photo gallery with Flickr support.
Until then, I think it's time to see the writing on the wall. You all need to move on.
It's six months after you posted your message and it's not working on my pc. Perhaps you could "escalate" the issue again?
Perhaps we could start something on Twitter or Facebook or even an online petition to further the cause of Photo Gallery users unhappy with the way things are going with this problem. NO ONE likes unhappy customers speaking publicly about poor service. It doesn't reflect well on MS!
Any other ideas out there?
