Flickr has changed there API and I'm not able to use Windows Photo Gallery to load to there site anymore. I've talked to flickr and they say it's cuz of there new API and that Windows Photo Gallery has to update before it will work again. Anyone know what to do?

Just found that Flickr's Web Uploader DOES retain the metadata that you add within Photo Gallery so until the upload feature in Photo Gallery is fixed, I for one will be using this. It's nowhere near as friendly but it does mean that I don't have to type in descriptions and tags for all my photos all over again.
Microsoft ... please get this issue fixed ... I am still hoping for a fix of Windows Photo Gallery
Photo Gallery no longer seems to work with any service. They send out a notice that Facebook is no longer going to use the app they used to to allow uploads to FB. In fact, other products still allow you to upload pictures and retain descriptions, face detection etc. such as fotobounce and adobe light room etc. There appears to be a problem with MS as to keeping working relationships with these other companies, so they just go down the road on their own like they have been doing for years instead of providing appropriate support.
I am still researching other software to be able to convert descriptions, face detection and captions from picture files that photo gallery created (this is another story as MS was part of the committee that made up the standards to where this information should be stored, but did not follow this criteria so all their information was stored in the image in a non standard way), regardless they (MS) see to have gone off in other directions and photo gallery probably will never be support again.
The best approach for users like us is to find a way to convert the image information to be stored in agreed upon fields and at this point, I have not seen anyone out there that cares to tackle the MS issue.

And yet, the Flickr connection is still unbelievably offered in the Microsoft Account page, and of course it fails. This snapshot speaks for itself, they don't even care to remove the support from their own website.
