Flickr has changed there API and I'm not able to use Windows Photo Gallery to load to there site anymore. I've talked to flickr and they say it's cuz of there new API and that Windows Photo Gallery has to update before it will work again. Anyone know what to do?

Just found that Flickr's Web Uploader DOES retain the metadata that you add within Photo Gallery so until the upload feature in Photo Gallery is fixed, I for one will be using this. It's nowhere near as friendly but it does mean that I don't have to type in descriptions and tags for all my photos all over again.

I just love Photo Gallery and have been using it for years! I use it everyday to handle my more than 60,000 photos that keeps growing more and more and could not think of life without it, so I hope they keep it going for a long time more. Please Microsoft, Make this work with flickr again soon, pleaseeee!

I certainly hope they will listen and act as I like to use the Photo Gallery. Flickr uploader is OK but more complicated to use.

As the last  release date was 22/03/2012, I cannot understand that it would be so long ago that the product would be 'ditched' like some say? It is still downloadable. I know that the product is from 2011. It is difficult to understand that the product would not be popular anymore if that is the reason they would not change it to https. How much work would that be?

It is a part of Windows Live Essentials, which has a release date some days earlier.

Same problem.  Until its working again, I'm just using the flickr uploader instead.

No problem. I'd done some searching, and found this https://support.microsoft.com/ContactUs -- they'll ask you to sign-in again.

"Technical Support" looks like the one to contact, but when I think about it we'll probably need to go higher than that. Of course, if technical support gets a flood of inquiries they might "kick it upstairs" -- I plan to tackle this tomorrow, worn-out from chasing all this down today.  I hope this helps.
