BSOD when restarting windows after exteneded user session.

EA updated battlefield 1942 to be compatible with modern systems when they re-released it for free.

tribes: ascend has an update check performed each time before game is launched. if an update has been released, then it is automatically installed before I am allowed to load the game. 

the same is true for combat arms.

all three games fully work as designed.

I do not own a Logitech g510 gaming keyboard. 'Logitech Gaming HID Device' is part of my Logitech G600 MMO gaming mouse.

My Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse is an early version which does not support firmware upgrades. current versions of the G600 do support firmware upgrades however. I have owned mine long enough that Logitech would not provide support for the issue.

Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework was started already when I check it in services, but it was set to manual. I changed start up type to automatic as directed.

I was apart of the Tribes: Ascend closed beta, and that was in 2010, clearly after Windows 7 was released, for the upgrade advisor to say it is incompatible is ridiculous. and Combat Arms is even newer than Tribes: Ascend. I can understand BF:1942 being there as it was only updated and re-released back in October 2013, but for the other two games the upgrade advisor report was off.

I don't know why you want me to run the windows 7 upgrade advisor, since Windows 7 came with the laptop.

It is a simple way to get a report on hardware and software as to their compatibility with Windows 7. It does not give definitive answers. It does, however, provide pointers to possible problem areas.

Click on the Start button and select Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Locate Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework in the list. Check that the StartUp type is Automatic. If it is not set to Automatic right click and select Properties, General tab. There is a box after StartUp type. The options are available on a drop down by clicking on the arrow down to the right of the box. Make the change and click on Apply and OK. Restart the computer and check whether it has started.

Please upload and share with everyone copies of your System and Application logs from your Event Viewer to your Sky Drive and post a link here.

To access the System log select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, from the list in the left side of the window expand Windows Logs and select System. Place the cursor on System, select Action from the Menu and Save All Events as (the default evtx file type) and give the file a name. Do the same for the Applications log. Do not provide filtered files.

I booted into safemode and disabled verifier since my system kept bsod'ing on me. the exported data in msinfo.txt  was created under normal boot mode.
