manifest does not have any migration information

Without this, you will not be able to upgrade to Windows 8.1

On a Asus X59SL with 4GB RAM and, P8600 procesor, not working anythig. I tray every solution from frums. I obtain just 0xC1900101-0x20017 and nothig else. The Microsoft Programers write wrong software source and wait to enduser to resolve they error.

Take an laptop Asus 59SL, install windows 8.1 without any error, and prove that I am wrong, and you are right ,when you sustain that is no errors in the source files of upgrade. The parrameter of function, or api ussed is not correct, or not compatible with any computer, that running Windows 8.0 without any problems.
