How to re-enable Bluetooth in PC Settings

I recently turned off my Bluetooth device by

1.       Opening PC Settings

2.       Selecting PC and devices and then Bluetooth.

3.       Changing the Manage Bluetooth devices switch to Off.

Now Bluetooth settings don’t even appear in PC Settings.  If I go to PC Settings, and then PC and devices, the Bluetooth settings have disappeared.

How can I turn my Bluetooth devices back on?

Hi,

This can happen if the Bluetooth device uses a Bluetooth 3.0 radio that is turned off by the manufacturer’s software.

If turning the Bluetooth device off causes your Bluetooth settings to disappear, follow these steps to re-enable your Bluetooth device:

1.     Open PC Settings

2.     Select Network, and then Airplane mode.

If your Bluetooth device was previously paired, there should be an Enable Bluetooth switch.  Switch it to On.

    I have tried this but with the update my devices that were pared are no longer. I get the Bluetooth button but can't enable it. I have tried many time to re-install  the latest drivers from Acer for the Iconia W500 but can't get anything to work.

    What else can I try?

    Dear Microsoft,  Are you f****** kidding me?  We are smart enough to know what Bluetooth is...then we know when BLUETOOTH HAS GONE COMPLETELY, OR IS DISABLED.!!!!!!!!   Clearly your instructions are garbage, as there is no ENABLE  BLUETOOTH!  ANSWER THAT, PLEAAAAAAASE!

    I have the same problem with my Bluetooth.  The Bluetooth switch is in there but it is not highlighted and can't be "enabled" at all.  Can you give me a clear solution to this. I am not a tech savvy but sure I can understand instruction...  Thanks.
