How to re-enable Bluetooth in PC Settings

I recently turned off my Bluetooth device by

1.       Opening PC Settings

2.       Selecting PC and devices and then Bluetooth.

3.       Changing the Manage Bluetooth devices switch to Off.

Now Bluetooth settings don’t even appear in PC Settings.  If I go to PC Settings, and then PC and devices, the Bluetooth settings have disappeared.

How can I turn my Bluetooth devices back on?

Hi,

This can happen if the Bluetooth device uses a Bluetooth 3.0 radio that is turned off by the manufacturer’s software.

If turning the Bluetooth device off causes your Bluetooth settings to disappear, follow these steps to re-enable your Bluetooth device:

1.     Open PC Settings

2.     Select Network, and then Airplane mode.

If your Bluetooth device was previously paired, there should be an Enable Bluetooth switch.  Switch it to On.

    What I had to do was go in to bluetooth settings and remove all of the previously learned devices.  Then re-pair them.  Once I did that they were fine.  Now if I could just get bluetooth to stop disconnecting 3 to 5 times a day.  I have to toggle bluetooth off/on in windows settings to get my connections back.  A bug that carried over from the earlier builds but seems to have gotten worse.

    I would suggest you to check Bluetooth value in registry editor. Please follow these steps:

    a. Press Windows + R keys, type regedit in run window and press Enter.

    b. Navigate to the following registry sub-key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\tosrfec\Parameters\Bluetooth

    c. Please make sure that this value is set to 1.

    d. If Bluetooth does not exist, right click in the right pane, click "New" and select "Binary value".

    e. Rename "Binary value" as Bluetooth.

    f. Now, right click Bluetooth and then click modify.

    g. Type 1 in value data and click ok.

    h. Close registry editor and restart your computer.

    Note: Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.     Hi Yes I had already tried all of that

    But tried again As per instructions.  However, it is as if Bluetooth just doesnt exist.  There is no reference to it in Search or Settings. No where!

    Help! :/
