How to re-enable Bluetooth in PC Settings

I recently turned off my Bluetooth device by

1.       Opening PC Settings

2.       Selecting PC and devices and then Bluetooth.

3.       Changing the Manage Bluetooth devices switch to Off.

Now Bluetooth settings don’t even appear in PC Settings.  If I go to PC Settings, and then PC and devices, the Bluetooth settings have disappeared.

How can I turn my Bluetooth devices back on?

Hi,

This can happen if the Bluetooth device uses a Bluetooth 3.0 radio that is turned off by the manufacturer’s software.

If turning the Bluetooth device off causes your Bluetooth settings to disappear, follow these steps to re-enable your Bluetooth device:

1.     Open PC Settings

2.     Select Network, and then Airplane mode.

If your Bluetooth device was previously paired, there should be an Enable Bluetooth switch.  Switch it to On.

    Hello. I have the same problem.

    Yesterday, on my Asus Win8.1, my blutooth worked like another day, especially used with my MS blutooth mouse.

    Today... blutooth is gone. No Windows Update. No sign of I ever had blutooth except in Airplane mode.

    No sign in Control Panel > Device Manager.

    If many other people had this problem I don't think that is a coincidence.

    I have no idea after reading the Internet, this thread and thise other:

    Earlier, I wanted to modify something with my mouse.  I saw the Bluetooth icon in the systray.  I found Bluetooth in the settings.  I later rebooted the computer; it installed updates.  I NO LONGER find Bluetoothin Settings, with Airplane Mode, or in the systray.  I  did a search and there is NO Bluetooth.  It is gone, gone, gone.  So what is the solution, Microsoft?  I am using Win 8.1 with a Leonvo Yoga 2 Pro.  I've reinstalled drivers for my mouse and spent a couple of hours trying to solve this.  The conclusion is, Bluetooth has been removed from my system without my permission and I was not informed.
