Although I have my computer set to notify me when there are updates before I install them, my computer automatically updated

Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320. Do I need this update and why did it load into my computer before I selected. I have searched for some explanation as to what this program is but am unable to find anything. WHAT IS IT?

I read all this but im I the only one that is experiencing update problems.  after 7.6.7600.320 was downloaded

I do not receive anymore updates. all it does is searches and never updates, it searches for hours and never stop searches.  help please.

this update only affects older computers.  I had this happen to me and I gave my computer to a person that did some changes to the registry to fix it and also had some cloning done and a new wi-fi card only cost me $75.00. great price and well worth it.

This is only if you already had a reserve for win 10 anyone who does not already have reserve are up the creek.

Obtaining and installing the latest Win7 Update Client(7.6.7601.23453) included in KB3161608 has no bearing on having reserved Win10.

     - the pre-requisites are Win7 SP1 and the April 2015 Servicing Stack update

    Windows 7 Sp1

Windows 7 June rollup which contains 7.6.7601.23453

Optionally, if Win7 SP1 hasn't been updated through April 2016 the MSFT Convenience Rollup(April 2016, KB3125574) can be downloaded and installed after having installed the pre-requisite April 2015 Servicing Stack Update.

The Convenience Rollup is available from the Catalog or via Direct Links
