Hi all,
I'm having an issue where if I restart the tablet it gets stuck between shutting down and starting up leaving me with a black screen. I usually then have to soft reset it by holding the power button down for 10 seconds after which it starts up as normal. It sometimes does this after a regular shut down or even sometimes after it's just been asleep. I have done several factory resets slowly installing windows updates, programs, everything I can think of to no avail. This is the third tablet (2 replacements) so I'm thinking it's not a hardware issue. Asus don't think it's a known problem and I've trawled the net but I haven't found many others having this issue. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have faced the same problem. But yesterday I tried to update Bios to last version (216) from http://support.asus.com.tw/. Asus Live Update in my T100 dosn't show this update, it is necessary to download it from web pages.
After Bios update everything looks OK, no problems after reboot or sleep.
Agree. I can only access version 214 from the website. Can someone direct me to version 216?
After some research I have found that version 216 was bricking some people's T100. Asus removed it from the site to fix the bug that is messing up some people's computers. Once they fix it, they will probably post it again, so I would be patient and wait until that happens before trying to find 216.
Thanks ... I have the same problem on sleep and restart ... now wait for BIOS 216.
I have found another issue on T100 and not sure if this is fixed in BIOS. The wireless card is VERY slow. T100 is giving ~2 mbps downlink while my other Asus laptop, iPhone 5 and iPad mini are getting 10 - 15 mbps with my cable Internet and home router. I tried this with speedtest.net. Anyone experienced this?

(OP) - I ended up getting a third replacement tablet and it had the freezing issue as well. So that was 4 out of 4 faulty units. I installed the BIOS update and now all is well. Haven't had an issue since. Thanks for everyone's help getting this sorted.
